Selenite is one of the most versatile and beloved crystals in spiritual practice. Unlike most crystals, selenite never needs cleansing itself , it is self-cleaning, self-charging, and constantly radiating gentle, high-vibrational energy.

These natural selenite rods (also known as wands, sticks, or rulers) are cut from natural Satin Spar, a fibrous variety of gypsum with the same cleansing properties as true selenite.

How to use your selenite wand:

  1. To cleanse a crystal: Hold the wand in your dominant hand and wave it over the crystal 3-5 times. Set an intention as you do.

  2. To clear your aura: Starting at your head, wave the wand slowly down the front of your body, then the back. Imagine it sweeping away stagnant energy.

  3. For crystal grids: Lay the wand down as a "energy line" connecting other crystals in your grid.

  4. Just place it nearby: Selenite works passively too. Simply having it on your desk, nightstand, or altar will cleanse the energy of the space.

Important care notes:

  • Selenite is brittle – it can break if dropped. Handle with care.

  • Selenite sheds – on occasion, tiny fibres or dust may come off. This is normal for natural selenite.

  • Do not use water – selenite is water-soluble. Water will erode the crystal structure over time. To clean, simply dust with a dry cloth.
