This beautiful white sphere has been hand-crafted from Grade A Satin Spar Selenite, the fibrous, chatoyant variety of gypsum known for its cleansing and recharging properties.

A note on Selenite vs. Satin Spar:

Selenite is the crystal name for crystallised gypsum. "Satin Spar" is not a separate name, it is a descriptor. It means the crystal has a fibrous, silky, chatoyant appearance (like a cat's eye). This is exactly what our spheres are made from.

We mention this because some collectors look for "true selenite" (clear, plate like crystals). Satin spar is the more common, more durable form, and it is what 99% of selenite spheres on the market are made from. You are getting genuine gypsum, hand-crafted into a beautiful sphere.
