Snowflake Obsidian is a beautiful variety of natural volcanic glass, characterized by its black base and distinctive white or grey "snowflake" patterns. These patterns are formed by tiny crystals of cristobalite that create the unique snowflake effect.
Unlike standard black obsidian, which is uniform and reflective, Snowflake Obsidian is softer in appearance, still protective, but with a gentler, more introspective energy.

This stone is defined as between 2cm and 3cm measured on the long axis of the stone only. Please note, all stones do vary in size and shape. Natural variation is part of the beauty of real crystals, no two are exactly alike.

The polishing process smooths the surface but does not change internal structure.
